BS S80D / UNS S43100 is a modified martensitic stainless steel produced under the British Aerospace standard; it is modified with the addition of Nickel to provide high mechanical properties with good corrosion resistance.

The high strength of the steel makes this suitable for manufacturing fasteners for aerospace applications, this steel also has applications in energy sectors such as petrochemical.

S80D is supplied in the Hardened & Tempered condition with a machined surface.
