F44 is a Super Austenitic Steel combines moderate tensile strength and high ductility with excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and a variety of harsh environments, including Chlorides. F44 has a PREN factor of greater than 40 (typically in the of 42 – 44). The combination of strength with good pitting corrosion resistance and high resistance to crevice corrosion make the material highly suitable for use harsh offshore and chemical processing environments

Our material meets the requirements of Norsok M-650 Ed.4 and/ or ISO 17782 qualified manufacturers plus NACE MR01-75 / ISO 15156.

Applications: Pumps, Valves, Chokes, Pipework/Flanges and Manifolds.

Heat Treatment: Solution annealing at min 1150°C followed by water quenching.

Size range: 10 mm – 400 mm ø (0,394 inches to 15,748 inches)

Weldability: Very good.
