F51 offers excellent corrosion resistance against stress corrosion cracking and pitting (PREN of > 35) combined with a high yield and tensile strength.  The material is chosen where Chloride corrosion is a threat and in sour gas applications.

Note: The Alloys are not intended to be used at temperatures above 300°C due to embrittlement.

All our Duplex Materials are produced by Norsok M-650 Ed.4 and/or ISO 17782 qualified manufacturers.

Applications: used in the following industries: Oil & Gas, Hydro Power, Pressure Vessels, Pulp & Paper, Structural Components and Chemical Tankers, specifically for Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessel Parts, Chemical Tanks, Refineries, Drive Shafts, Flanges and Pipes.

Heat Treatment – Solution annealing at 1020 – 1100°C followed by water quenching

Size range: 6 mm to 380 mm ø (0,236 inches to 14,961 inches)

Weldability – Very good.
