Our F53 round bar is ideal for use in aggressive operating environments, especially marine and those containing chlorides, and has very good resistance to localized corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.  It has high mechanical strength and good ductility at modest sub-zero temperatures.  It is suitable for up to 300°C working temperatures.

All our Super-Duplex materials are produced by Norsok M-650 Ed.4 and/ or ISO 17782 qualified manufacturers.

Applications:  It is widely used in Oil & Gas, Hydropower, Pressure Vessels, Pulp & Paper, Food, Structural Components and Chemical Tankers, specifically for Pumps, Valves, Pipelines, Wellhead Equipment, Propeller Shafts, Rudders, Fasteners, Instrumentation, Heat Exchangers, Digesters, Bleach Washers, FGD systems, Scrubber Systems, Absorber Towers, and Process Equipment in Food and Beverage industries.

Delivered Condition: solution annealed (+AT)

Heat Treatment:  Solution annealing in the range of 1100°C followed by water quenching.

Weldability: Very good.

Stocked Dimensions: 16 mm to 406.4 mm ø (0,63 inches to 16 inches)
