At Broder Metals Group, we’re committed to investing in our people to deliver the finest service for our customers – and now we’ve gone one step further by sponsoring up-and-coming Motorsport protégé, Maxwell Dodds.
Maxwell Dodds: Go-Karting Phenomenon
Maxwell has been racing go-karts since the age of four and, in the decade since, has enjoyed phenomenal success in the sport, competing at the highest level in the CIK FIA European and World Championships across the world, here in the UK and in Europe, North America, and the United Arab Emirates.
Now 15, Maxwell is regarded as one of the most promising young competitors in the UK and has been selected to represent the UK in the CIK FIA Karting Academy Trophy. As well as achieving many podia finishes and amassing an impressive hoard of trophies, Maxwell has acted as a factory driver for some of the finest motorsport teams on the planet, helping him to fulfil his dream to enter the world of motor racing.
In 2021, Maxwell will participate in the Ginetta Junior Championship, representing Assetto Motorsport, who boasts an enviable track record in the GT and Sports Car Racing Championships. Running in support of the prestigious British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), the Ginetta Junior Championship will be screened live on ITV4, attracting a new generation of fans to the sport.
When he’s not on the racetrack, Maxwell enjoys relaxing by playing table tennis, running, and cycling around his home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
We wish Maxwell well in his endeavours and look forward to many years of success as a proud partner.
